UCLA-IPAM-NSF workshop on Thin Films and Fluid Interfaces
January 30-February 2, 2006
This workshop brings together an international group of researchers
working on experimental, analytical, and computational
problems related to thin films and fluid interfaces.
Problems of current interest
include solid-liquid-vapor interfaces, moving contact lines, and surface tension effects.
The workshop will be held at UCLA's
Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics
and organized through the University of California, Los Angeles,
Department of Mathematics .
Funding for this workshop is made possible through an NSF Focussed Research
Group effort. Students and postdocs are encouraged to attend
and to contact one of the conference organizers if they are interested.
