Research Analyst Position at the New York Fed

Research Analysts play an integral role in both the policy and research functions of the Research and Statistics Group. Our economists, whose specialties include banking and payment systems, capital markets, international economics, macroeconomics, and microeconomics, work closely with Research Analysts. Upon leaving the Fed, Research Analysts who choose to apply to graduate school are consistently accepted by top programs; others pursue a wide variety of public and private sector opportunities.

Apply to be a Math Circle instructor

We are looking for instructors who are strong in math, enjoy working with young students and share their passion for the subject.  Instructors are needed in all of the groups covering grades K through 12.  The program is funded by the National Science Foundation and private funds, so all of the instructors are paid after completing training.  If you are interested in joining the math circle team, please contact the program’s director, Dr. Olga Radko at radko@math.ucla.edu.

The UCLA Department of Economics is pleased to announce the second year of the Department of Economics Board of Visitors Research Fellows Program. The Research Fellows program is modeled after our popular Sharpe Fellows Program and will support talented undergraduates interested in economic research. Selected Fellows will work side-by-side with a faculty member on the professor’s research team, and will receive a stipend of $2500 per quarter (up to a maximum of three quarters), professional development training, and the opportunity to present their findings at an event in June 2018.
