The Science & Entertainment Exchange (The Exchange) is a program of the National Academy of Sciences. Our mission is to inspire better science in Hollywood by introducing entertainment professionals to great science communicators through consolations and events. Since its launch in 2008, The Exchange has completed more than 2,200 consults including IRON MAN 2, THOR, TRON: LEGACY, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, STAR TREK: INTO THE DARKNESS, MAN OF STEEL, Fringe, CASTLE, BOURNE: LEGACY, The Good Wife, CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, BLACK PANTHER, and BIG HERO 6. Additionally the program has produced more than 250 live events, primarily in New York and Los Angeles.
We are looking for an intern to work in our UCLA office and possibly remotely for part of the time. Hours are flexible and school credit can be earned through our affiliate, Zucker Productions. Possible work includes help with social media, developing content for our website, help with event logistics, administrative tasks, and other areas that are of interest to the intern.
