Invitation for Undergraduates to participate in the Learning Outcomes Student Forum

Wednesday, November 15, 2017

What do you expect to learn in your major? What else do you think you should learn at UCLA, and why? In which experiences – academic and co-curricular – have you learned the most so far?

The Division of Undergraduate Education invites undergraduate juniors and seniors to become student consultants at a Learning Outcomes Student Forum.  You’d be committing to join around 70 of your peers for a one-hour meeting each term.  For the fall quarter, there are two remaining forums scheduled in November.  Please select one of the two forums and reserve a spot:

Thursday, November 2, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, November 15, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Click on a link above to choose the time you'd like to attend.

At the forum, you will be asked to provide your perspective on what you expect to know and be able to do when you have completed your undergraduate studies at UCLA.  Don’t worry – you don’t have to stand up and speak – we’ll use technology to collect what you have to say during the meetings, so please bring a smartphone, iPad, or laptop with you, or just bring yourself (we’ll have pencils and index cards on hand, too).

There are neither right answers nor wrong answers…  only your point of view, which we value as important feedback for UCLA’s continuous effort to be the very best.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Kelly Wahl atkwahl@college.ucla.edu or (310) 825-2295, or Mary Ries atmries@college.ucla.edu or (310) 206-1225.
