UBS’s First R Workshop
The Undergraduate Business Society is excited to announce our first ever R Workshop, hosted in conjunction withUCLA's Statistics Club. This workshop is designed to introduce UCLA students to the R programming language, a strongly functional language that allows users to statistically explore data sets and design graphics from them. R is considered one of the top skills recruiters look for when interviewing candidates, especially in the hot field of big data. Here is an article describing the popularity of the R language and its easy-to-use functions. The event will be taught by Siena Duplan, an incoming Salesforce Business Analyst LinkedIn Profile, and Kayla Frisoli, a Graduate Research Assistant from the University of Wisconsin LinkedIn Profile.
