Apply to UCLA B.I.G. Summer 2018!

Bruins-In-Genomics (B.I.G.) Summer is an undergraduate research program for students who are interested in learning computational biology, and pursuing a graduate education in biosciences.

The program offers two tracks for students with limited to advanced computing skills. Students in the program will:

  • learn to analyze genomes
  • engage in research projects with leading faculty
  • attend weekly science talks 
  • present at student journal clubs
  • participate in professional development seminars & social activities

The program concludes with a scientific poster sessions and award ceremony. 

Students receive a $4,000.00 stipend. Travel allowance and housing is also provided to non-local students.
