UCLA Mathematics Professor Ciprian Manolescu was elected as one of sixty-five new fellows of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) for his contributions to Floer homology and the topology of manifolds. The Fellows of the AMS program was inaugurated in 2013 to highlight and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the mathematical sciences community.
